| Armed with an uncanny sense of harmony constructioning and a knack for conceiving self-adhesive vocal melodies, the Baby Skins have been dazzling the oft-unruly NYC crowds with their many "songs." The main songwriters in the group are Crystal Madrilejos and Angela Carlucci. These two ladies share guitar, xylophone and singing duties. They have recently upped the ante to full-band status with James Broughel on bass guitar and Steven Mertens on drums. The Baby Skins sing sank-you songs of love (both lost and found) and of candymen, while lyrically delineating the profundity and intricacy of the Freudian mindscape. They have recently released their first CD, entitled Optional Rally Funpack. |
